Our Mission

Helping Christian families watch with clarity.

LionLens grew out of a simple frustration: there were plenty of review sites, but very few places where Christians could quickly assess secular media through a clear biblical lens without hitting a paywall or settling for vague warnings.

We want to offer a free, practical place where believers can decide how they want to engage films and shows, prepare for family conversations, and exercise discernment with confidence rather than guesswork.

Why We Exist

Discernment without panic, compromise, or noise.

We do not believe Christian media discernment should feel like either legalism or neglect. Families need more than a blunt yes-or-no verdict. They need context, substance, and enough detail to judge wisely in light of their own household, convictions, and stage of life.

That is why LionLens focuses on the things that often matter most in real conversations: worldview, spiritual themes, language, intensity, emotional weight, and the moments that are likely to stay with a child after the credits roll.

Our aim is not to replace parental responsibility or the leading of the Holy Spirit. It is to support both with clear information, thoughtful review, and a tone shaped by grace and truth.

How We Work

A practical tool for everyday Christian households.

  • We review secular media with an openly Christian frame rather than pretending neutrality.
  • We keep our guidance quick to scan, but detailed enough to be useful.
  • We care about both content and worldview, not just age-style warnings.
  • We want families to pause, discuss, and think biblically together.
  • We aim to keep LionLens free and accessible for ordinary believers.

What We Believe

God

We believe in the one true and living God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the holy Creator and ruler of all things, perfect in justice, wisdom, power, and love, and worthy of all worship, honour, and obedience.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived without sin, died for sinners, rose bodily from the grave, reigns at the Father's right hand, and will return in glory.

Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Because all people are sinners, we can only be forgiven, justified, and made new through repentance and trust in Jesus, not by our own merit, but by God's mercy.

Scripture

We believe the Bible, in the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God. It is trustworthy, authoritative, and sufficient for faith and life, revealing God's truth, His saving plan, and the way His people are called to live.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and is at work in the world today. He brings conviction of sin, leads people to Christ, dwells in every believer, and empowers, teaches, guides, and transforms God's people for faithful service.

Christian Hope and Ethics

We believe in the sure hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the renewal of all things. This hope shapes how we live now: loving God and neighbour, pursuing holiness, honouring the dignity of every human life, and affirming marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman.
